Role: Depot Parts Manager
Location: Holbeach, PE12 8SQ Doubleday Group – Agricultural Machinery Dealership
Reporting to: Group Parts Manager
Team Structure: Group Parts Manager, Depot Parts Manager (this is the role being advertised), Parts Sales Assistant.
Team Responsibility Overview:
The Holbeach parts team is responsible for all parts sales and inventory management, both over the counter and to our busy workshop. Fast and efficient parts service is key because service, maintenance and repair work is a huge aspect of the business. Accurate stock and admin controls are essential, ensuring that parts orders and inventory are dealt with in a timely manner and WIP and invoicing is kept up to date. We pride ourselves on offering a supreme level of customer service, ensuring customers come back time and time again for further parts, workshop and machinery sales. Accuracy, attention to detail, great customer communication and teamwork all come together to ultimately drive the supreme level of customer service we strive to provide.
As the Depot Parts Manager based at Doubleday Holbeach you will follow our Customer Care Process, ensuring that first class customer service is always achieved. As a key member of the front of house team at Doubleday Holbeach you will greet our customers and ensure they are seen to by the correct person within the depot. You will work closely with our Group Parts Manager, Part Sales Assistant, Service manager and workshop technician team, ensuring they have what they need to do their job as efficiently as possible.
Promote and sell parts and/or services to meet our customer needs;
Supply service technicians with parts as required;
Assist with preparing and maintaining promotional/merchandise displays;
Verify receipt of incoming shipments and assist with locating machine down orders, stock orders and promotional orders correctly;
Follows up on shortages and accelerate any issues by reporting to the Group Parts Manager;
Execute parts sales marketing plans and shares ideas for future campaigns;
Execute telemarketing sales operations;
Take ownership of inventory management, invoicing and other administration tasks;
Assist in keeping parts inventory clean, orderly and well organised;
Assist front of house with directing walk in customer enquiries;
Phone call taking. Directing phone calls to relevant person within the depot or group;
Co-ordinate parts training with Group Parts manager;
Home Owner machinery quotes and sales.
Skills and Attributes:
Competent knowledge of agricultural equipment and the farming industry.
Familiar with franchise and competitive products.
Customer focus and communication skills are of paramount importance in this role.
Excellent attention to detail with a conscientious approach.
Enjoy a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods.
Excellent communicator with strong team working skills.
Experience of agriculture or automotive industry would be an advantage.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as internet functions.
Use of Ibcos Gold system.
Use of John Deere Systems.

Standard working hours - Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm with rotational Saturdays until 12:00pm
Extended hours (during harvest) – Monday to Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm with rotational weekends 7:30am to 4:30pm
